How Fresh Gear collects, uses and protects your information when you use this website.

Last updated: June 7, 2026

Fresh Gear ("Fresh Gear", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. When you submit the contact form we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, organization and message. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not process payments on this site.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, provide the information or service you requested, and keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no first-party tracking cookies by default. If we enable analytics (for example Google Tag Manager or Ahrefs Web Analytics) in the future, we will do so in line with applicable consent requirements and update this policy.

Third-party services

To operate the site we rely on a few service providers, which may receive limited technical data (such as your IP address) as part of delivering content to your browser:

  • Cloudflare hosts the site, delivers contact-form emails, and provides the Turnstile anti-spam check on our form.
  • OpenFreeMap and Protomaps serve the basemap imagery on our locations map.
  • YouTube (via youtube-nocookie.com) serves embedded videos, which load only after you click to play.
  • Browser geolocation is used only if you choose the "find my location" control on the map, and the request is handled by your browser.

How we share information

We share information only with the service providers above as needed to operate the site, or where required to comply with the law. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Data retention

We keep enquiry messages for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain reasonable business records, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or PIPEDA in Canada), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at the address below.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including serving the site over HTTPS and screening form submissions for abuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above.
